Los Cabo, Mexico is a growing area, filling up with hotels and resorts. What has stayed intact throughout all the growth is the authenticity of the Mexican culture that is exuberated within the local towns, but shines brightly in the food.
Every morning from the window of my resort room, I could see a group of boats gathered out in the Pacific Ocean. The waiter at the resort restaurant told me they fish in that same area every morning for “dorado” (mahi-mahi) and tuna. That being said, fresh fish are caught and cooked at the local restaurants.
Along the coastline of the Gulf of California are restaurants you can take your pick from that serve some of the best Mexican dishes. Break away from the usual tacos and burritos, and try something on the menu you usually don’t eat. That is part of the adventure!
