Kayak & Dine - Meetup

We're meeting up with the ladies of Black Women Who and Wanderful Dc Chapters at the Lake Ridge Marina for some fun in the sun on the water!

Bring your own kayaks or SUPs. Rentals are also available.

After kayaking, join us for lunch at Hector's of Lake Ridge, a local traditional Mexican restaurant to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

Know Before You Go:

• This is a not a paid event, but if you don't have your own kayak or paddle board you can rent at the marina.
• This is a fun way to meet other ladies in the DMV, so feel free to bring a friend.
• Swimming is not a requirement; if you're renting life jackets will be provided.
• The Occoquan River is very calm waters. Only potential waves will be from other fishing motor boats cruising past creating a small wake.
• A brief paddle tutorial and safety tips will be provided at the start of the meetup
