Hike & Wine Excursion - April 2024

Join us for our an exciting outdoor excursion in Bluemont, Virgina.  Bring a friend or come solo and meet new explorers as we trek the Snicker's Gap Trail. A 2 mile loop group hike through terrian that will lead you to one of the most amazing skyline views in Virginia. 

Enjoy games, fellowship with each other, and win prizes!

Bring your friends and family for a full day of adventure and fun. 

The Hike and Wine Excursion includes:

• 2 mile Hiking experience (steep inclines; rocky terrian)
• Wine flight of 4 wines
• Wine glass souvenir
• Lunch
• Make & Take Activity
• Bottle of wine Raffle entry

Carpool:

Join the ACT3 Excursion group to connect with other participants to coordinate carpool details

Veramar Vineyard:

• additional food is available for purchase within their tavern (view menu here)
• feel free to take photos with the backdrop of the vineyard

Know Before You Go!

Adult-only event - this gives you the opportunity to meet other adventure-seeking adults in the area

This is a rain or shine excursion. However, we will make a final determination on the day before the excursion if rescheduling is necessary due to severe weather (thunderstorms , heavy rain). 

In that case, the rain date will be April 27th. An email with a survey link will be sent to all registered participants, to determine whether they are available or not on the rain date.

Hiking Trail Details:

• dirt and  gravel terrain
• moments of steep inclines and declines

!!! Know your comfort level:

• If you have never hiked before: this trail will be challenging
• If you are fit, but not a hiker: this trail will be moderate to slightly challenging
• If you are a normal/regular hiker: this trail will be moderate 
• If you are an avid to fit hiker: this trail maybe easy to moderate

Every participant must complete the mandatory Accident Waiver & Release of Liability Form prior to the excursion.

(the waiver will be included in the confirmation, excursion detailed and reminder emails)
