Hike and Wine Excursion - May 2024

Looking for a challanging hike with amazing views? This is the adventure for you. Bring a friend or come solo and meet new explorers as we trek the Raven Rocks Trail. A 5 mile group hike through terrian that will lead you to one of the most amazing skyline views in Virginia. 

Enjoy games, fellowship with each other, and win prizes!

Bring your friends and family for a full day of adventure and fun. 

The Hike and Wine Excursion includes:

• 5 mile Hiking experience (intermediate level)
• Wine flight of 4 wines
• Wine glass souvenir/ Freebie bag
• Lunch
• Bottle of wine Raffle

Specific event details will be provided through email once tickets are purchased.

Carpool:

Join the ACT3 Excursion group to connect with other participants to coordinate carpool details

Every participant must complete the mandatory Accident Waiver & Release of Liability Form prior to the excursion.

Know Before You Go!

Adult-only event - this gives you the opportunity to meet other adventure-seeking adults in the area

This is a rain or shine excursion. However, we will make a final determination on the day before the excursion if rescheduling is necessary due to severe weather (thunderstorms , heavy rain).

Hiking Trail Details:

• dirt and  gravel terrain
• moments of steep inclines and declines

!!! Know your comfort level:

• If you have never hiked before: this trail will be challenging
• If you are fit, but not a hiker: this trail will be moderate to slightly challenging
• If you are a normal/regular hiker: this trail will be moderate
• If you are an avid to fit hiker: this trail maybe easy to moderate

Twin Oaks Tavern Vineyard:

• additional food is available for purchase within their tavern (view menu here)
• feel free to take photos with the backdrop of the vineyard
